Tack on another 260 for Monday. Cooter, how many miles you got on that odometer?

Yup, but I rode about 220 miles. I'm 500 from 12,000 miles for the first year of ownership.

Well, turns out I'm not very patient. I found a good deal on one of the bikes that was on my short list of replacement rides and brought it home last night (early this morning actually). I still have to wear the soft boot thing on my foot until next week, so I'm going to try and be a good boy and not ride the bike until then. I did ride it down the street before I bought it and she is a sweet little thang! Regulations say it doesn't exist without pictures. |

Now I have to go hunt for another rain suit (2 really). Sorry to hear about the useless gear. I can recommend First Gear 2-piece suits. I suspect they don't make the exact model I have, but it was the best one they sold at the time. Mine has literally been through 2 different 500+ mile days in the remnants of hurricanes, a couple of years of commuting, and a cross country trip. I've never had it leak. I even wear it as a wind-block over my mesh gear if the weather turns colder than expected. The only shortcoming, and it is minor, is that the arms are too baggy and flap in the wind on a sport bike. After several hundred miles this gets tiring. This might not even be an issue on your Barcalounger (TM). |
