Any of the Corner Lot crew planning to ride the March 1st enduro in Meridian?

Yea I have talked with Jon and Ed and I think that we are all going. Terry is a member and will have to work that race. Are you going to try and make it?

I would like to, but it depends on how my mom's health is at the time.   If I go I'll probably just sign up at the site.   Have you ridden at Meridian?

And how are things at the Corner Lot?   Are you guys under water again?

I have not been there in several months. The last time I was there was when Jon and I went to brake in his new bike. So March was the last time I have been there. The Corner Lot Resort is in poor shape. The membership is down to 18 or so and the main reason is because I can't spend the time it takes to keep it up and work / run the HVACR Capital Cooling and Refrigeration at the same time. I tried to handle them both by myself last year and I just can't do it. Ada and I have talked and we both agree that we will have to have work days if we are going to keep it open. Talking with the few people that have stayed with us they seem to be ok with the idea. So that is the plan for this year.

The weather had kicked your ass for the last 3 months and the everything is under water. I have worked on the drainage on the MX track and it is better. The  woods are still about 1 foot of water on them. The Red section never made it open last year I could never manage to get the last bridge built. Add to that everytime I would get the trails cleaned up another weather system would come thru and put more trees down.

The forcast looks better for the next few days and if the rain will stay north of us we might dry out!

I hope your mom improves. Let us know if we can do anything.

I got the 250 out and found the fork seals leaking. Mark is covered up so I will not make the race.

Fork seals are over-rated.   Your front suspension will be much more compliant without all of that oil inside.   ;D

Funny story. New Years day ride Mark L broke the crank in his 250 and he was going to rebuild his motor last week. I found my fork seals leaking and I was going to fix them last week. We all went to houston and when we got back I was totaly behind. Mark found himself swamped too. We both worked all week to get caught up and neither bike was fixed.

We could not ride the woods so we got the street bikes out and went for a short ride before the Super Bowl. Not a race but we still had fun.
