Went out for a ride on the 300, the wife rode the 100. The trails were completely frozen and the ruts I made last weekend (when it was 60 and thunderstorming, which melted the 10" of snow in about 12 hours) caused the 100 to bounce around all over and she didn't have too much fun.

I did manage to ride today but it was dirt does that still count? Went down to Golden Pines Race Way and did some old school motocrosss. New Years day he opens the track for other track owers and shop owners. Mark Lowry and a bunch of us loaded up and spent the day. The track was good and we had a great time. I did manage to crash in the same place Mac went down last year. No broken bones and the bike is fine, but I am stiff and walking funny. Oh well we still had a good day.

Did anyone make it up?

Mark

It was 26 degrees when I got outside on the 1st, so I wimped out and trailered the bike to the hills.   It let the sun come up and get the temperature closer to the freezing point and meant I didn't burn up the knobs on the highway.   It has rained a lot lately so it started out with quite a bit of ice, which turned to mud by lunchtime.   It was good to get out and not be in cell phone infested traffic.   Here are a couple of pics....
