Actually, Erik never quit. Immediately after Harley did the deed, Erik started up Erik Buell Racing and continued production of race parts for the 1125R and the development of the 1190.
That new 1190 is very impressive and shows what the 1125R would have been had Harley not had such a heavy hand in the final design. I really miss my 1125R.
