Going to Daytona Bike Week

I'm heading out to bike week soon. Was wondering if anyone from here was going or might want to run down for a day?

I'm going with an attorney that works with my wife. He just got back into riding and has worked a lot over the last few years with the Hillbilly Christmas in July (a motorcycle fund raiser for Shriner's Hospital and a few other children's charities). Anyway, Tom and I are camping in a pop-up Wed-Sun morning of Bike week. If anyone is going, let me know and we can get together for a while. Mostly, I want to see the flat track racing and the 200. Will look around at the stuff available for my bike, but I'm sure most of it will be more funny than useful.

No definite plans yet, but we're there almost every year for at least the short track races and the 200.  They have moved the flat track into the Speedway parking lot, in case you haven't heard.  Not quite the same as the Municipal Stadium, but still fun to watch.   No entry for me this year in the Alligator.  I haven't been on the dirt bike nearly enough.   

I'll post more if we get some plans made in the next couple of weeks.    Are you towing the pop-up down with the bike?

I would love to but I am still working to pay for the last trip I took. I also need to go and visit my daughter in Huston. Im not sure when that will happen.

Looks like I'll be riding down Thursday morning.  I can't get away from work any earlier.    A couple of friends from Florida are headed over for the flat track races both nights.   Depending how the trip goes and when I get in the area I may just head straight for the Speedway.   We usually camp at a place up near Bunnell off I-95.   Haven't locked that in yet.   I plan to be at Daytona through the end of the roadracing, so probably headed north on Sunday morning.
