I didn't ride for shit. It wasn't me. Bet it was Our Texas ChromeHead, with Matt and his dad in second/third.

I just went and looked at the odometer on the KTM. Somehow I managed about 4500 miles this year...which is 1500 more than I would have guessed.

Not many miles, but they were good ones...

I have about 12k so far, and the year aint over yet.

That's actually pretty sad when you consider almost 1/2 of that was the one trip out west.

Though I didn't get to do the MD2020, or the Void this year so that's almost 4k round trip that's missing from my planned mileage.

I`m not sure how many I put on but I`m still wearing the same tires I put on last year. I think they look better than last year. I guess I`m about done for the season as it`s snowing like hell out there. Cry

some of the most fun were on the R80 that I acquired last year and got running earlier this year.

I knew Crusin' would have the lead. How about some picts of the R80 up close. I remember the photos of the modified frame - how'd it turn out?

. . . . How about some picts of the R80 up close. I remember the photos of the modified frame - how'd it turn out?

Here are a few shots of the "almost finished" product showing the modified frame, freshly painted bags, LED work in the taillight and on the bags, the seat that is still in testing phase and one artsy shot by Lake Meredith (where I live).

And here is the link to "My other cruiser" over on the Chromeheads website with a more complete narrative and pictures of the project.

Alllllllllllllllllllllrighty then!

Added about 90 miles on a sunrise "beemer therapy" ride this morning out to the Plum Creek Recreation area on the south end of Lake Meredith; just had to share.  Grin

edit: guess since this is a mileage thread I should add that about half way through the ride, I surpassed the 27K mark for the year.

About 5K so far this year on the KLR.  Considering that I just got it back on the road in June, and didn't get anywhere except around southern ohio.. I can't complain.

Once the divorce is final, I'll figure out what is next.  /HUGE shrug, again.

xoxo to all

It sure as heck wasn't me. Angry  No trips this year aside from a short hop to B'ham for the SBK races.  The only other riding was daily commuting and infrequent day rides.  And then, since June and the waterskiing incident, I've been off the bike.
