Just how much I love my FJR...

Bang for the buck, it's been great.   As with any other bike, I've spent a ton on *farkles*...

I've been through 2 seats, though admittedly the used Russell just wasn't built for my ass.  The off-the shelf Sargent is doing just fine, thanks.

Moto-Lights, well the headlights on the Feej are pretty good, so they don't really help you much expect with a little peripheral light.  No, they are mostly to help me be seen.

My final drive stopped leaking, either that or it's empty, I'll need to check on that soon.  Smiley

It's due for the valve check, but damn it's never run smoother, especially since I added the PC-III...  That really changed the bike for the better.

Mileage, I wish it did a little better but I still get mid 40's...   I never take the bags off, cause they are always full of shit I just *might* need.

I've been commuting with it a bunch this summer in an effort to save fuel.  It's a double down kind of thing, cause when I take it I get 2x the mileage of my piece of shit Chrysler, which frees that up for the wife to drive which gets 2x the mileage of the Excursion.

The Pilot Road 2's have so far been the best tires I've ever had.  at 9k miles they still look great...  I may get 12k front and rear from these which would be a miracle and make their extra $$ well worth it.

Yeah, it's a keeper...   Can't wait to see what Yamaha does in 2010 (the next alleged re-do for this model)...

Did I mention I love this thing?

Its not often when a rider finds a bike that so perfectly fits his/her needs.  Hold on to that one Matt!

Yea that is rare but give him time. I thought the Sprint was the end all of bikes but I moved to Colorado and half of the good roads are dirt. Now I got the Swiss army knife of motorcycles. Now I can change the suspension on the fly

So, did you have any adjustment problems making such a drastic change in bikes?

Nice ride.

Mostly financial. No real adjustments, I got the ESA suspension so that helps. It's not as quick as the sprint but it goes ok. I only put on a couple hundred miles on it so it's hard to make comparisons. I am sure taking it out on dirt is going to be a challenge since I never rode a dirt bike before but have taken street bikes on dirt roads many times but felt comfortable.

Nice bike. That thing is like a Swiss army knife.

I noticed it has a lot of front brake and it has me wondering if it has abs brakes.
