Dang, the grow up so fast! Now with Pictures!!
« on: August 08, 2008, 03:06:06 PM »
So Lil' G started Kindergarten today.  We took him to school this morning and he was all excited to get to use his new backpack and wear his school shoes.  Before we left the house, our three year old was crying because she was going to miss her big brother.  As soon as we left the classroom, my wife was crying because she's going to miss her little boy.  I managed to stay strong and manly though.

Anyway, its just hard to believe Gavin is old enough to start school.  It seems like just a few months ago he was still crawling around eating bugs and dirt and pooping in a diaper.  I suppose in another 'few months' he'll be graduating high school.   :o

My daughter is in driver's education right now. I'm not real thrilled about the prospect of her driving.  :o

Absolutely, cherish this time with them.  It will be gone before you know it.

I just spent a day with Michael my oldest boy now 17 at Kings Island.  Seems like only yesterday he was a toddler...  It really sneaks up on you.

There were certainly times when he was 13/14/15 that I was sure he wasn't going to live another day.    But those are a distant memory now.

I know people told me that 17 years ago, but I didn't really pay attention.
