I have visions of a 300 pounder named Tiny gettin his beard stuck in the belt as he tries to remove my rear wheel with a standard open end wrench.

Wierd.  One of my few complaints about the 1125R was the weak rear brake.  It had no power or feel.  Did the shop say what caused the problem?

Well................

They ordered the rotor, caliper, pads and line. After installing everything they came to the conclusion that the master cylinder is the problem (just like someone mentioned when he dropped it off). Now waiting on the M cylinder to arrive.

Here's a quote from another thread, but it's just idle hearsay and purely speculative since we don't have pictures yet.   

Planned Mods:  ..... My buddy that built the VFR bag brackets for the Buell already has my bags and brackets and will be modifying them (sorry Cooter) for the Daytona.  After all that, I hope the Triumph becomes the semi-comfy SPORT-tourer that the Buell was.

And yes, I know this thread is useless until...

Yeah, the racks actually survived relatively unscathed.  They made for a pretty good frame slider as the rear of the bike was in perfect condition and only a little of the rack was ground down (bags were not on at time of wreck).  And yes, I'm going to retrofit them to the Daytona.  Sorry Cooter.

However, if you ever wanted to try and put something similar together yourself, I did save the little spacers that we machined for the rear attachment point.  I can send those to ya!

BTW. Just brought the baby home again. I walked past her twice at the dealer because I didn't recognize her clean. +1 to the Chrome Brigade. The do have a great detail guy.
