VMD - anyone gonna be there?
« on: July 22, 2008, 01:05:30 PM »
I'm not leaving until Friday, meaning I won't be there until Saturday morn. I'll be in the paddock area, trying to race again. Anyone going, stop by and say hi.

We are broke as a joke. No trips for the Toney crew.

Race has been moved to Oct 19. I need more time to finish the new trails. Not to mention the grass has to be cut prior to the race and that will take about 100 gallons of fuel.

Hope yall have a great race and give em hell GAR!!!!!

Puked oil on start-up. CS seal gave up the ghost, seems it was damaged at Daytona. No racing. Rode the Trophy a little, lusted a lot for new bikes. Bought some Triumph gear. Had fun. Saw JCS and Jean. Will be back next year.

As far as IndyGP goes, Cooter and PhotoMD are going. I'm not.

Parts are in hand. It will be fixed, and I will try again. For just a very few minutes (when I walked down to "scratch" for Saturday's race) I wanted to just give up racing. The walk back was "just let me actually do it and not have any trouble one weekend, then I'll quit." By the time I got back to the pit, I decided to just give up the weekend racing, but just keep racing until I have to quit. Never say die, but know when to punt and re-group for another set of downs.

That sucks. The CS seal on my 640 needs to be replaced also. I may do that soon since the sprockets and chain need to be replaced anyway.

Krismark and I are going to the GP, but more importantly we are also going to the mile on Saturday night.

Gar keep your head up and things will come together. You you might want to start your race prep sooner. Time in your shop is way better spent that time in the pits.

I feel your pain. Jon has managed to wad up his bike twice. That makes for a short day and a long ride home.
