Now if we can find some shorter bars you will be ready for the trails. The bike looks great.

Nice job Ty

What is a typical width for bars on a woods/trails bike?

Renthal makes a set of bars that are normaly used on mini bikes like an 85. They are 28"' They also make several different bends.

Cycle Service stocks the bars that Jon and I use. Damn good thing too cause I need a pair now. I can ask what bend that they are.

Hope that helps

Oh and get a good get of bark busters they are a must have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I buy handlebars based on the bend and rise I prefer and then cut about an inch to inch and a half off each end.   The typical target for a woods bike is around 29 inches, not more than 30 with the barkbusters in place.  A lot of clubs will use a yardstick cut to 30 inches when laying out the trail for an enduro.

Great pictures, especially the one Mark copied.   You need to get a steel shoe for some dirt-tracking.    ;D

I took some pics of Jons bike. Mine is at the shop.

These bars are 28" and with the bark busters 29"
