That bike is fookin' awesome. Cooter already has his first service scheduled for Friday. He's about 60-70 miles short after today. I rode the new puppy for about 20 miles. Man!!! Took me a few miles, maybe 10, to even get used to it. But once I was there, wow! Cooter is gonna have some fun.

I still love my Hardley, but that Buell is a fun bike. Oh, I gotta buy replacement parts after our ride today. Seems I had a run-in with a furry critter - mid turn even. He went spinning in the dirt. Cooter said he then ran up the hill. No where to pull over, so I kept on going. Rover bent the living crap out of my crash bar. Since the fairing mounts to the crash bar, the fairing is a little jacked on the right.

Oh, most funny part, Cooter and I now have match H-D key fobs! Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

Kinda like it's hardwired into your brain. You think about turning and it's already done with the turn. It is going to take some reprogramming of my addled brain to get used to it.

Yes.  Harley has a $5000 rebate on 1125R/CR's and I think $3000 rebates on other models going on right now.  I got my 1125R at an incredible price...$5500, basically 50% off MSRP, out the door.

Cooter traded in to get his, so on paper he had a great trade for the old Connie - making financing easy.

My dealer only offered $1500 for my VFR.  I laughed that offer right off the table and the VFR came back home with me.

Brilliant decision on my part to buy this thing right at the start of the cold tire/colder roads season.

Straight up, this thing is more than a tad intimidating.
