For thoes of yall who have ever been to TWO or High Valley Resort you most likely meet Frank Cheek. He opened TWO in 1982 and then opened the Airport to over flow from TWO. He later sold TWO to his step daughter and renamed the airport to High Valley Resort.
Frank passed away 09-30-09.
Ada and I spent several days with Frank in 2005 and realy took a liking to Ada. He even took her for a ride on his burgman 650. Not just did he take her for a ride he took her for a blazing run down the grass runway. No one got to ride on the runway!
When he was 78 the doc told him that he did not ride motorcycles any more. Frank said said ok. He sold the SV and bought the Burgman. When asked he said the doc did not say he could not ride a scooter.
Frank will be truly missed. He was a great guy.
