I don't know if the old site being changed had anything to do with limited or no responses to this or not but there it is just in case.

http://www.chromeheads.org/discus/messages/202348/370125.html?1211997509

I was gonna insert that as a one word link but couldn't find any instructions on how to do it. Tired every combination of stuff below and nothing worked

Where does one find out how to do this stuff?  ???

Dunno, but just pasting as a link the whole address is easy and we don't mind that it's not a single word.

Nice photos and write up. BTW, while not a BMW guy, that white(cream) chrome head with pinstripes is very cool looking, and probably the best looking cruiser of the modern era, to me.

Nice Ride report...

Here's how you do what you wanted to do:

This:
Code: [Select]
[url]http://www.twowheeltouring.net[/url]

gives you this:  http://www.twowheeltouring.net

and this:

Code: [Select]
[url=http://www.twowheeltouring.net]This Site[/url]

gives you this:  This Site

Put the URL in side the first url tag:  [ URL=somelink]linkname[ / URL]  (note spaces added so it wouldn't try to convert it to a link)

This site and *most* Bulletin boards support BBCode:  A reference is here BBCode Syntax on Wikipidea
Our Site: Dishers.com

Thanks, I knew there was a way to do it but just couldn't seem to find the info.  I'm gradually learning to speak computerese but it's a slow process.
