In need of two wheel transport
« on: August 02, 2009, 05:09:07 PM »
I no longer own a street legal motorcycle. I no longer own a Triumph of any vintage, or parts for one. Well, I do still have a front a rear wheel for a pre-OIF Trumpet. I do still have the KTM SMR and Lew's XR100, but that's it.

I guess no street riding, sport-touring (as if I had done that in the last 1.5 years) or ride and meet/eat for me for a while.

I have some street legal bikes still, but for some reason I just refuse to ride them.  ;D

I'm in a somewhat similar situation, though I still ride the 640 and the 525 on the street.   The VFR hasn't been out in almost two years due to the house renovation....  not looking forward to cleaning the EFI system so it just sits.   :-[

Going to the shop on Monday was a total waste.  :( Definitely not buying anything there.

Well, I know what I'm getting. I'm just waiting to get it. Waiting on a call this afternoon to see if the dealer can get a hold of what I want now or if I'm going to have to wait a little longer.

Deposit made yesterday. Scheduled to arrive Sept. 3. But I am going to be in Cincy Sept. 5 for UK v. Miami, so I may not be able to pick it up then since the bike is coming from a Knoxville area dealer, so it will run the dragon on the way home.
