OK, so at what time on Sunday do we meet in Dry Ridge?  :)  or elsewhere for that matter?

(Saturday is soccer day)

Let me know.

How's 1 or 2 o'clock sound?

I should be free all day.

So where does one need to be at 1-2pm on Sunday?   To see the new ride and eat something?

When we figure it out give me a call in case I miss a post.

Hows about the Cracker Barrel at Dy Ridge at 2?

TaDa. Though I cannot speak for the new ride making an appearance.

Well, the day started out with a nice ride.   Met dad at a restaurant in Fairfield where he was eating with folks from his 45th? reunion.  Looked like a standard Sunday at the old folks home if you ask me.

Then we ran through Harrison, around through Indiana, across the Markland damn, up some back roads to get to the Cracker Barrel.

I caught this little guy on the way.

(We were running a little behind and wicked it up a bit for the last 30- miles or so and ended up only being like 2 mins late).

And then there it was...  The earth stood still...

Yep, he bought a hardley.

The first thing my dad asked him was if he'd been ticketed yet for wearing a full face helmet on a Harley.

At least it's mostly maintenance free (belt drive and hydraulic valves)  :)

Gar actually looks pretty good on it.   I'm sure it will bring he and Jules a lot of smiles.

:)

711 miles in less than 30 hours from purchase. Closer to 24 hours I think, really. Gotta call and schedule the first maintenance tomorrow.

Good looking bike.   Glad you're back on two wheels.

When I was riding the bike home Saturday night, it got a little chilly. I was thinking a pair of chaps would be nice, as I just had on jeans and my new Harley jacket. ;D

:D   Maybe so, but I've never thought of those bikes as the typical Harley poser models.   A number of years ago I rode about 750 miles one day, mostly in the rain, with a guy on an older version of that bike.   We just happened to be eating breakfast at the same restaurant and struck up a conversation.   Found out we were both headed the same way.   A VFR and a Hardley, who'd a thunk it?

Has anyone bothered to check on Ruff?  Just to make sure he didn't  have a heart attack?

Congrats on the new ride Gar.  I pegged ya for something sportier but that should give you lots of happy, comfortable miles.
Ride On!
