AHRMA is hurting
« on: June 10, 2009, 07:21:06 PM »
Just checked ahrma.org. They are hurting from getting booted from the AMA and are trying to get members to just donate $45,000 to keep 'em going. Wow!

Gar's engines !     (runs for cover)

Actually, sorry to see them having so many problems.   I haven't been exposed to AHRMA for a long, long time but it used to be a very enthusiastic group of racers with some very cool equipment.

The bikes are cool - very cool. The average racer is pretty cool - really they are very cool and very very helpful. The legends and mgt, well, I don't know. From what I have learned over the last few years, the ones running it act like they own it all. Anyway, what I thought was so neat about AHRMA was that not only do you have wonderfully expensive and important bikes racing, but much cheaper old bikes and then the modern singles and twins racing with them that don't have much of anywhere else to go as other groups really don't like much other than the 600 supersport class and bigger (with exception for 250cc GP bikes).
