The track is broke and the membership is down. After some long thought Ada and I have agreeded to rebuild the track. This will make or break the track. it will take a week or so to make this happen. MX Track Builders will be fling down on the 10th and Cycle Service Plus is footing the bill for air fare. Most of the equipment is being donated.

More updates to come as we get more info.

Fuel prices scare me right now. We will see

Are the big yellow machines working in the field yet?   Good luck with the rebuilding.

Yea the dozer and all the equipment are running and making a hell of a mess! The old track is gone and the new one is coming up. Most of the new track is pushed up. The shaping will take place in a day of two.

The kids track will turn into a mini moto. Just think a mini sx track.

Last but not least we are building a Super Cross Track!!!!! You got it full blown

I will post pics soon

The MX Track is built and will have to dry before we can reopen. We did test ride it and all I can say is WOW!!

The builder will have to fly out and build a track. He will be come back in as soon as he is done. The kids track will be next and then the SX Track.

I will try to get some pics as soon as the weather will allow.

I so want to help raise the membership numbers of the Corner Lot, but things have not gone according to plan, as in I STILL don't have a dirt bike.  And to make matters worse, the company cancelled our  'every other friday off' work schedule and I now have a lot of responsibilities at church, so getting away for the weekend is more difficult than ever.

Okay, I'll quit whining now.  Keep up the good work Mark.  I can't wait to see all the changes.

The wether has been total crap! I am starting think it aint gona quit raning.Jon and I went out to check on the track. Most of the drainage we got installed before the the biulder left, but ther are two runs that the drainage did not get put in. So 3/4 of the track looks great  and the other is still wet! I would go so far as to say under water.

We dug a retention pond and it is full and over flowing over the track in one place. I still need to install an over flow pipe from the pond to the grass land.

So I still have not taken any pics I will try to take a few this weekend if the weather will stay good.

Mark,

Sorry to hear about the wet conditions.   If it has been raining in Pearl as much as in Atlanta you're doing good to be above water anywhere.   (and of course there are still watering restrictions here; as if anyone would need to water anything)   You need to get your pilot friend to fly over and take some pictures of the new tracks when they're finished.   Google Earth still doesn't even show the V1 of the track or trails.    Sad

Ty,

If Mark can get the marshlands dried up enough so that we don't need trolling motors and pontoons, I've got an extra bike I can bring down if we can schedule a day or weekend for ridin'.  That Gar fellow keeps talking about driving down to ride and pick up his bike so maybe we can get several of us out there for some videos.

That's a plan. June 13-14 or June 27-28?

I could be there either weekend.   The 27/28th might give the 'Lot a little more drying time, but the weather is pretty unpredictable this year.   Maybe the proprietors of the Corner Lot will chime in.

Which ever they want. I'm in Destin right now through next weekend. We have Lew's birthday the 21st, so which ever weekend works out, I'll do, 13-14 or 27-28.

Ok ther goes The 13 and 14would work but that is the weekend before my birthday party so we will be working to tie up all the lose ends prior to the party.  Huh   The cool thing is I'm having a party  Grin

The 28th a great friend is getting married! Yeap Shawn and Kelly are tieing the knotso we could ride Saturday and make the wedding on Sunday.  The wedding is open to all and during regular Sunday service.

So I think that the 27 and the 28 would work best.

Thats my 2 cents Roll Eyes

13th is my trackday at Barbers so that weekend is out for me.  But the 27th is open I think (need to check with the boss's calender).

Hopefully, we can make this work?!   Undecided
