Saturday June 27th, 2009
Quaker Steak & Lube - Milford, Ohio
Registration opens at 11AM and runs until 2PM. Prize drawings will begin at 4PM.

This is a benefit ride in loving memory of our dear and deeply missed friend Scott “Scooter” Carr. All proceeds will go to The League For Animal Welfare, a voluntary, non-profit animal shelter located in Clermont County, Ohio. The League is celebrating their 60th anniversary of providing safe haven for dogs and cats in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Please join us for a non-traditional benefit ride.

•Riders will embark on a scavenger hunt for chances to win prizes.
•A map and list of items or facts to find will be provided.
•The more you find, the more chances you will have for prizes.
•All participants can choose the length of their ride by determining the number of locations to visit.
•Riders are free to run solo or go as groups. This will not be a ride where bikes will leave as a massive caravan with police escorts and blocked intersections.
•Choose your registration time based on how long you want to ride.
•The first bike is out at 12PM, last bike out at 2PM.

Online pre-registration is now available on the League For Animal Welfare website http://www.lfaw.org/.
Simply go to the online donation section of the website and choose Scooters Mutt Run- Event. You can also mail a check (with Scooter’s Mutt Run in the memo area) to The League for Animal Welfare 4193 Taylor Road Batavia, OH 45103 or call (513)735-2299 to register over the phone with your MasterCard or Visa.

Cost for the ride is $20.00 per rider and $5.00 for a passenger. The League for
Animal Welfare is a 501(c)(3) organization and therefore all entry fees are tax-deductible.

Rain date is August 1st, 2009

This is the kind of ride Julie would like. She's all about the animals.

We would love to have you & Julie in the ride. Think of this as the benefit ride for riders who don't like benefit rides. Self guided scavenger hunt format. Freedom is good, riding in a parade, not so good. By the way, if you put your thumb over the "S" in Scooter, it becomes Cooter's Mutt Run, so I'm hoping the previous owner of my previous RF900R can join us as well! Grin

That depends.

Do you miss it as much as I do?

Good to hear from you again BTW.

I miss it a ton. The FJR is not quite as "nimble" and does not have the hooligan scream of the D&D exhaust either. The RF brought out my "inner squid" more than any bike I've owned so far. Shocked
